Dear Tom,

My heart jumped up with great joy when my elves have told me that you have been listening to all the advice I gave you last year. It seems that you have been nicer and that you have behaved wonderful with everyone this year. And your grades made me happier; I must confess that I am very proud seeing such a big improvement both at Math and Romanian.

For this reason and also because you are very dear to me I have brought you the bike you wished for so much. Don't be so amazed my dear, in Santa's bag there is plenty of room..

We have to leave now because Santa and his reindeers have a long journey in front of us, but I'm convinced that we will meet again next year. I'm sure that you will not disappoint me and that I shall find your name on my next year list of Good Children.

I must confess to you that I would be happier if I saw big grades in English and if you didn't argue so much with your sister Alice.
